As an extension of the authoritative textbook, A Manual of Acupuncture by Peter Deadman, Mazin Al-Khafaji, Kevin Baker, and Tom Kennedy, this app seeks to provide a highly accessible digital platform for detailed study and clinical reference.

Each point entry includes Chinese tonal information, characters, calligraphy, pronunciation audio, as well as videos demonstrating location and needling techniques. Functionalities to support learning include customizable point groups, self-testing modules for points and categories, live links for straightforward referencing, note-taking capabilities, and a sophisticated search feature that allows filtering by channel or specific attributes like actions or indications. Additional reference materials such as indexes, glossaries, measurement guidelines, and anatomical region descriptions further support clinical practice and study.
